Nigerian duo Blessing Okpe and Emueje Ogbiagbevha were among the standout performers as Dinamo Minsk cruised to a dominant 11-0 victory over Naftan on Matchday 14 of the Belarusian Vysshaya Liga Women’s season on Saturday.
The one-sided encounter, played at the Atlant Stadium in Novopolotsk, showcased Dinamo Minsk’s ruthless attacking prowess, with several players contributing to the scoreline.
Alina Khoroshchak set the tone early with a brace, followed by a strike from Anna Pilipenko in the 32nd minute to make it 3-0. Just three minutes later, Okpe netted her first goal for the club, before doubling her tally with a composed finish just before halftime.
Ogbiagbevha, a key figure in Dinamo’s attack, added the sixth goal in the 58th minute, taking her season tally to six goals in nine appearances. She was later substituted for Violetta Vatsuro, who made her own impact with a brace.
Tatiana Petrusevich, Lia Tilhomirova, and Cameroonian forward Alvine Ngonja also got on the scoresheet, completing a comprehensive win for the league leaders.
Okpe, who played the full 90 minutes, opened her goal account for Dinamo Minsk with the brace, while Ogbiagbevha continued her consistent form in front of the goal.
Dinamo Minsk remains top of the table with 34 points from 12 matches, maintaining a six-point lead over second-placed Minsk FK. The two sides are set for a high-stakes showdown on June 19, 2025, in what could prove to be a pivotal moment in the title race.
