Liaoning Shenbei Hefeng delivered a dominant home performance in Round 9 of the Chinese Women’s Super League, sweeping aside Yongchuan Chashan 4–0.
Nigerian winger Ijamilusi Folashade starred in the first half, scoring her second goal of the season in the 28th minute. Her composed finish followed a slick attacking move and extended Liaoning’s lead to 3–0, after Yingu Zhou and Aifang Wang had already struck. Wang later completed her brace to seal the win.
Folashade was electric throughout, threatening in one-on-ones, tracking back defensively, and constantly involved in build-up play before being subbed off in the second half.
The result lifts Liaoning to second in the table with 18 points, two behind Jiangsu Suning and one ahead of reigning champions Wuhan Jiangda, who have a game in hand. Next up: an away clash with Guangzhou Meizhou on June 21.
