Elkanemi Sports Complex, Maiduguri is the venue for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) between host, Elkanemi Warriors and Remo Stars Football Club.

ElKanemi Warriors fell 3-0 to Katsina United in Match Day 24 of the NPFL after a disappointing 1-1 draw at home against Enugu Rangers.

Meanwhile, the Desert Warriors have been unbeaten in all home games this season and they will ensure they continue the record against the visitors, Remo Stars FC. In the reverse fixture, the Sky Blue Stars defeated the Desert Warriors 2-0 courtesy of a goal from Onuoha Chukwujekwu and a stunning free kick from Ochowechi Salefu.

Speaking with RSFC Media, Winner of Match Day 22 VAT Wonder Goal Award, Ochowechi Salefu feels it’s going to be a difficult game but he and his teammates will be nervey going into the encounter.

“The game against Elkanemi Warriors is going to be a difficult game but myself and my teammates will approach the game with all seriousness and play as if it’s the last game of the season. “I am quite optimistic that Remo Stars Football Club will remain in the NPFL with our recent performance.” Ochowechi affirmed.
