Technical Adviser of Remo Stars Football Club has downplayed Mountain of Fire Miracles and Ministry Football Club victory over the Sky Blue Stars in MatchDay 12 in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Sunday. Soccer Temple as fondly called hosted the Southwest derby between both sides.

The Sky Blue Stars were the first to prove dangerous in front of goal as MFM FC’s Ospino Egbe denies Jamilu Coker from Victor Mbaoma’s pass before Walbe David saved Onuwa Chukwuka’s free kick and immediately Mbaoma Victor had a brilliant chance from Martaba Umar low cross but goes wide.

Stephen Odey celebrates a goal
Stephen Odey got his 7th goal of the season from the penalty spot after Walbe David brought him down inside the box in the 14th minute of the game from Onuwa Chukwuka’s through pass. Shortly after the goal, Awazie Ekene and Oche Salefu combined brilliantly but couldn’t locate Victor Mbaoma who was unmarked.

Speaking after the game, Fatai Osho feels that the result of the game between both sides was not a reflection of what happened on the field of play. “Nothing spectacular went wrong in today’s game, we came with a lot of expectations and we could have gotten something better.”

“MFM FC has won, we have to give it to them because they did their best to win but I must be honest with you, the result wasn’t actually a reflection of what happened on the field of play and a draw could have been a better result. “We are a team in transit, we can’t shy away from that but I can assure you that as we go on, we will definitely get better.” Osho concluded.
