Against the backdrop of a 1-0 to Niger Tornadoes in the week (10) NPFL fixture played at the Confluence stadium, Lokoja,last Sunday, Gombe United Technical Adviser Manu Garba (OON) gave a pat on his lads for their gallant display.
  
Speaking to Gombe United Media, the  2013 under-17 World Cup winning coach, explained that after a shaky start his players got their rhythm and played one of their best game so far.

According to him the Savannah Scorpions were unlucky not pull a win or draw during the match.
 The football tactician added ” we  have since put aside that match, and we are now concentrating on our next match at home this Wednesday against Fc Ifeanyu Uba”.

“Let me appeal to our teaming fans not to relent in supporting the club with prayers and avoid abusing the players for the overall success of the club this season”.

He also urged the State Government to as a matter of urgency look into the possibility of providing the club with brand new buses to ease their transport difficulties.
